Glynde Food and English Wine Festival

At this year's Glynde Food and English Wine Festival, we'll be running a Sparkling English Wine bar, selling sparkling wines, cider and beer by the glass for people to enjoy in the sunshine.

Set in the beautiful grounds of Glynde Place near Lewes, the Glynde Food and English Wine Festival offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy food from fantastic British chefs, including demonstrations from John Torode, Dhruv Baker, Lisa Faulkner, Val Warner and many more. Visitors will also have the opportunity to sample wines from local wine producers, as well as take part in tastings presented by Ewan Lacey and Stephen Skelton. Come along, celebrate and support English fare!

Tim Atkin, Oz Clarke and Olly Smith have been great mates for years. The three of them excelling consistently in the world of wine broadcasting, on television, radio and in print. They put their heads together one night and decided that they really wanted to get into the minds of the British wine drinking public with first hand interaction. They came up with the idea of Three Wine Men; a way to reach people directly, share their eccentric personalities and build a new fresh format for a consumer wine show with a few surprises along the way.

We are joining Oz Clarke, Olly Smith and Tim Atkin on their roadshow extravaganza to showcase some of the best sparkling wines from England. If you're in any of the areas mentioned below, we'd love to see you and serve you some samples of some superb wines.

Best of Britannia

A number of our English wines will be out in force at a stylish new consumer show - Best of Britannia - taking place this weekend.

The best of British fashion, design and manufacture will be celebrated 5th-7th October in London’s Clerkenwell, allowing visitor to discover, enjoy and buy from a wide range of goods. Alongside exhibitors from across the country representing everything from speedboats to handbags, we'll be there showing the best of England’s still and sparkling wines. Our distinctive black and white mobile bar will be located in the main courtyard, near the entrance to the show and the main stage, selling wines by the glass. All the wines will also be available by the bottle to take away.

The line up of English wine stars will include:
- Bolney Wine Estate from Sussex, showing their still Lychgate red and white wines;
- Kent’s Hush Heath Estate, showing their Nanette’s still rosé;
- Nyetimber from Sussex will have two of their wines available: Classic Cuvée as well as an exclusive opportunity to purchase a half bottle of Blanc de Blancs along with two flutes to take away
- Blackboys Vineyard, also from Sussex, showing their sparkling rosé Tickerage Blush

Other bars located throughout the show on different floors will be selling Bolney and Blackboys’ wines, as well as the half bottles of Nyetimber Blanc de Blancs.

The show will take place in The Farmiloe Building, Clerkenwell, London EC1M, Friday 5th-Sunday 7th October. The show will be open to the public Saturday 6th and 7th, 10.00am-9.30pm. Tickets can be purchased here


Heroes at the Tower, Tower of London
Thursday 13th September


Heroes at the Tower is an exciting and exclusive event taking place at the Tower of London on Thursday 13th September.

It is a prestigious charity event organised to celebrate British military tradition, coupled with the finest English wine and food. The evening has been organised to raise money for the charities Combat Stress, Coming Home and The Chapel Royal of St. Peter ad Vincula.  

Guests to the charity event (including HRH Prince Michael of Kent), will be hosted by the Constable of the Tower of London, General The Lord Dannatt and will enjoy a display of British tradition at its finest including:
- A private viewing of the Crown Jewels and The Ceremony of the Keys
- A performance from a leading West End Musical accompanied by the Pikemen and Musketeers from the Honourable Artillery Company
Organised by Chance Organisation  

At the heart of the entertainment will be the food and drink for guests to enjoy, with the unique chance to sup some of the finest and award-winning wines from England and taste a delicious array of canapés specially prepared using only the best British ingredients. The catering has been organised by Sarah Symington Catering and we are supplying a superb range of wines for guests to drink throughout the evening from one of our two bars.

Kew the Movies, Wakehurst Place
Friday 14th, & Saturday 15th September


We will be serving some top quality wines, spirits and beer to visitors to Wakehurst Place's Kew the Movies season.

An outdoor screen allows visitors to enjoy an evening showing of some excellent movies (The King's Speech / Mamma Mia) with the stunning backdrop of the Royal Botanical Gardens at Wakehurst Place, whilst being able to eat, drink and be merry in the late summer sunshine!
