What's in the box?
A collection of six of England's best known producer's top wines produced over the past 15 years. Nyetimber have the ability to produce classic wines year upon year and this mixed case allows you to experience the best that Nyetimber have to offer from 1998-2008. In chronological order this pack contains the following:

Blanc de Blancs 1998
At 14 years old, this wine still retains the Nyetimber signature of freshness and complexity, characteristics that combine to make Nyetimber so special. White flowers, limes, white grapefruit are the leading sensations on the nose, whilst spices, vanilla and hints of toast add a further dimension. On the palate, fresh citrus and lively acidity give this wine a great entry, whilst roasted nut flavours provide complexity. The wine is vibrant and linear with excellent creamy bubbles to make the mouthfeel balanced and pleasing.

Classic Cuvée 2004
A well balanced and developed wine, the Classic Cuvée 2004 offers lifted brioche, biscuit and red fruit aromas on the nose. The palate begins with an excellent, creamy mousse, followed by a fresh fruit palate of apples and pears, ending with a long and fresh finish.

Blanc de Blancs 2007
This exquisite release of the new Blanc de Blancs 2007 from Nyetimber is a lovely straw colour. The nose offers up smells of apples such as Granny Smith as well as hints of bergamots. The palate is pure with a superb citrus fruit acidity and excellent minerality.

Classic Cuvée 2008
One of Nyetimber's most recent releases offers a beautiful wine with 4 years bottle ageing. The Classic Cuvée 2008 is a fresh and vibrant wine with a lovely amount of fruit, but at the same time, that classic Nyetimber style. The nose has a delicious buttery nose with fresh melons. The palate opens with a fabulous mousse that is very round. A delicate citrus undertone is ballasted by creaminess and melon. The wine has an excellent length with perfect balance and a long finish.

Nyetimber Rosé 2008
Produced from a mixture of Chardonnay and Pinot noir, this wine is a vibrant pink colour with tiny gentle bubbles. A lovely intermingling of currant and strawberry aromas fill the nose and hints of spice and brioche add layers of complexity and interest. Ripe and sweet red fruit flavours together with gentle bubbles provides fullness but also a supple texture to the wine. Bright and pure acidity balances the fullness and leave the palate refreshed.

Demi-Sec NV
A new release from Nyetimber this year, and their first attempt at a Demi-Sec. This wine is a lovely pale straw yellow with lots of little bubbles opening up the nose that is fruity and yeasty. Flavours of sweet toffee apples intermingle with nuttiness and bread dough. The palate offers a medium sweetness that is mostly fruity, offering flavours of peach melba and creme de cassis, at the same time as a yeastiness. The finish is long and develops further...
